A confidential source to find photos Sony Ericsson mobile phones we have not seen before. Looks like Sony Ericsson Kurara, but has a QWERTY keyboard. Yes, this is only possible new entry into the Sony Ericsson series U. We do not know how much this phone and Sony Ericsson Kurara have in common.

From the screen looks quite clear that the handset was used os Symbian S60 5th edition. So, what is Sony Ericsson doing here? Will the handset is named Kurara?

Rumor had it that this handset has a 8MP camera and video recording 720p. The XPERIA X2 does have an 8MP camera, but it only captures video at 30fps WVGA. Then again the screen, QWERTY Kurara likely to nHD resolution, not the X2 WVGA resolution (360x640 vs 480x800, both at a 3.2 "screen).

Along with the OS - Symbian rather than Windows Mobile from XPERIA X2 - CPU is one of the main differences between the QWERTY-Kurara and X2 (600MHz vs. 528MHz Cortex A8 Qualcomm MSM 7200). Couple N97, Nokia N97 and Nokia N97 mini is a heavy competitor in this class.
